Your first visit is an important one. We dedicate an hour to get to know you and your family, and understand your goals for the appointment and desired outcomes in treatment. No other area office commits this amount of time to your education. We truly care about the relationship we establish with you and your family.

In this visit, complimentary digital images and a digital panoramic x-ray will be taken so that Dr. Deb or Dr. Diane can give you the most comprehensive opinion. Your teeth, jaw structure, and facial profile, are all carefully considered when developing your treatment options. For many patients this is their first foray into the world of orthodontics. To put your mind at ease, we will provide you and your dentist with a written report of our findings and recommendations. The best part of this visit – it’s complimentary for all patients!

We want all our patients to leave with clear expectations, and to understand the following:

• Is orthodontic treatment indicated?
• Orthodontic treatment options
• Estimated length of treatment
• The best time to begin treatment
• Treatment costs

If treatment is indicated, the doctors will recommend completing diagnostic records, which would include plaster models of the teeth, and a growth x-ray. Because we value your time, we set aside time after your examination to obtain these records, and in many cases, you can even get started with your treatment that day.
